Wendy Milonas | | Hi all! I'm a 37 year old mom that owns a design studio where I do graphic design and illustration. I have three great kids, 2 girls (6 and 8) and one boy (18). I homeschool my younger two, the oldest is already done with school and off living on his own. I share a home office with my husband who sells life/mortgage insurance.
My office is equipped with a few Macs (2 G4s, 7800, 7400 and my newer Mac Mini) as well as a laptop PC (and that I only use for one client - most times hubby takes the laptop out for sales calls)
I design for print, internet, textile, just about anything. I spend a lot of time lately building Wordpress themes to go along with existing website designs for corporations. In addition to the artwork, I set up the php and css for the Wordpress themes. I understand both the visual and functional needs of design, and don't design for the sake of making something pretty. I design for results. I also take into account the company branding guidelines (and establish some if none are present).
I've have been designing professionally for over 10 years, and I have been an artist since birth (or shortly thereafter).
I'm glad to be here and can't wait to spend some time getting to know everyone else and what they do!

Welcome to the think tank. My name is Tom and I am a Financial Planner, as well as a Mortgage Broker. I have been successful in network marketing as well. I am new to the think tank but not new to MLM. If you are new to Network Marketing, you need to realize that at least 80% of the MLM opportunities are going to be scams, or programs with poor compensation plans. Many to avoid are those that are publicly traded. The problem with them is in the Company policies and proceedures. They are more interested in satisfying investors, than they are taking care of associates. Just do your homework. There are places to go to check many of them out such as MLM Watchdog, and many others. I would be happy to give you a little guidance in that area. As I have built large networking organizations I enjoy giving back my knowledge to see that others do not make the mistakes I made getting my start.

However Tom, very good advice that your giving. Myself I've been burned on over 80% of the MLMs that I took part in, one was great it lasted three years. Then POOF the president took off for Mexico. LoL, guess he had his fill. The only thing I worry most about is the personal information that you share.
So Tom is correct, be sure on the information that your sharing is going to be secure, make sure you can pin point the location of the domain owner and how long of a purchase agreement was made on the domain and keep all information you transact with anyone online. Most of all, be sure you believe in it before you ask someone else to believe in it.
And Thomas, thank you for reaching out to Dvorah and offering your expertise in that area. That is exactly what I was hoping would come from Business Networking Online ( BNO ) Ryze Network.

Many small business have much undesired "havoc" within their marketing efforts that floats into their advertising campaigns, thus yielding poor results.

My "edumakation" background is in communications and I spent about 15 years in broadcast media. The highlight of my radio career was interviewing (2001) Tommy Shaw (STYX) and asking him if he still had all those dorky jumpsuits in his closet from them 80's videos. HA HA! I was told they were all in a secret vault!
I have an 18 year old son who attends Technical College for gaming programming, he has one RPG he has created but won't let me play! I am a newlywed, married for the first time at age 42.

If you peruse my ryze page, it's pretty much all there,
some business (web development), some family (photos
included), some testimonials, a short shopping story...
Pretty much the same as everyone else.
I've crammed as much as possible onto that page and it IS
longish. Some folks like it, some say it IS too long.
However, it's my page so I'll make it as long as I please.
LOL
Aside from what's on that page, I'm a Mom, Grand-Mom and
take care of my friend, Russ Persinger. He had a brain
aneurysm in 1997 and needs constant care. Seeing as how my
personal motto is, "no barrier to great" I jumped in to
become his Guardian/Conservator. That could be a full time
job but a lot of the time I have an aid to help with daily
care.
Not much else to say except about the web development
stuff. It's what I do with a good portion of my time, I
enjoy (really love it sometimes!) it and cannot imagine
anything else that I would rather do.
