 Jeff Beeman | | I know...I know!
Join a bunch of companies tell them you are in for the long haul. Then call them everyday just to chat but never sell one product or sponsor one new associate. Just kidding!
What is the definition of a reneagade or maybe a rebel? Normally, in my thinking anyway, it is somebody who is really very, very good at what they do but they choose to go against the stream. They want to go out on there own or just do a few things different than the rest of the pack.
The Movie "Major League" comes to mind with Charlie Sheen playing the role of the pitcher "Vaughn"...He has a smoking fast ball but can't hit the strike zone. He also has a rebel attitude with a wild hair cut and doesn't wear his uniform like the other players. He is a rebel and becomes known as "Wild Thing". Eventually they figure out he needs glasses and all ends well.
The point here is...He is very, very good with the basics. He learns to throw the fast ball even faster and strikes out the opponets one after another. Ask professionals in any given industry or sport and they will tell you that to become a professional first you have to be the best at the basics! once you master the basics then you can be the renegade and get away with it. You can even use that flare to do bigger and better things.
Way to many times in this industry we want the money before we learn the basics. There is a learning curve here and for some like myself it's a very big learning curve...for others you can move through it quicker but we still have to master the basics first.
THanks for reading, Happy Selling! Jeff Beeman
