My MLM Business Is Better! You can have the best business and product on the planet but if you don't know how to market effectively then no one will know and no one will care. Marketing is the only activity that will bring in cash for your business. The product the compensation plan and leadership etc are all important aspects of your mlm business but none of them are income producing activities. The money being brought in by sales and marketing is what makes it all possible. That's why you should concern yourself with marketing your business then anything else. This is the most important thing, you can learn in your network marketing carrier.
You can make a lot of money with a great marketing plan and a semi-great product. You will never even come close to make as much money with great product and a semi-great marketing plan. Robert Kiyosaki, in his book "CashFlow Quadrant" Robert talks about how he has people all the time approach him about starting a new business or how to raise money for a new project. He can tell right away if that person is focused on the product or the system of business by the words that they use. After listening to what they have to say. He asks them if they can cook a better hamburger then McDonald's can? Everyone he asked this question to said yes so far.
He then asks if you can cook a better hamburger then McDonald's, why do they make more money then you? Some people get it and some don't. Robert says the problem with most people is they focus on perfecting their skills on making a better hamburger instead working on the skills for selling and delivering the hamburger. He then continues by saying the most important skills a business owner can develop is sales and marketing. Why do I telling you this? What is the lesson for creating a successful mlm business? Your product or opportunity, no matter how great it is will not make you rich or sell itself. A great product and opportunity are very important. However, if you don't learn the marketing, your mlm business success will be much more challenging.
