Crock Pot Dressing
1 1/2 corn meal 1 1/2 flour 5 eggs 1/2 oil 3/4 cup buttermilk
Mix ingredients and put in iron skillet. Bake at 350 for approx. 35 min. Cool.
Combine cornbread, crumbled up. 3-4 cups cooked, chicken breasts, cut in small pieces. 1 can cream of celery soup 1 can cream of chicken 1 cup chopped onion 7 cups chicken broth 1/2 tablespoon sage 1 tablespoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Put mixture in CrockPot, add one stick of butter pressed down in the center.
Cook over night if you wish.

Grandma Bartok's recipe for Stuffing use 2 dozen Eggs, homemade sourdough bread, dried of course, fresh parsley and Onions and lot's of Gizzard.. she would save 'em up, homemade chicken stock, celery and white pepper.
I have made it for the past 50 years, but I think we will be alone, so the crockpot idea sound good.. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

We will be alone this year too, and I don't want to fix a big turkey. So this crockpot recipe should just about do the trick.
Jim will also make his delicious fruit salad to go along with it.
