Eva Abreu | | There was a recent article in USA Weekend (Jan. 11-13, 2008) titled "21st-century Pioneer: Astronaut Leroy Chiao achieved his ambition for adventures in space. Now he's trying to open the skies to his fellow dreamers back on Earth".
The article also discusses "Virgin Galactic, the company founded by British billionaire Richard Branson that's behind SpaceShipOne, is selling tickets [to space]. For only $200,000... possible departure date: as early as 2009. Several other companies also are planning spaceship flights, with the cost for passengers expected to be roughly in the same price range".
What are your thoughts about space travel? If money were no object, would you take a trip into space?

Eva Abreu | | LOL, agreed Steve! I'm not done yet exploring the four corners of the earth, plus I'm prone to motion sickness, so space travel is not for me :)
I tend to keep my feet on the ground, but...
...my sights set on reaching new goals.
And if you look up, there is unlimited potential, beyond what we can see.
As the saying goes, "The sky's the limit", but with space travel, there are no limitations anymore.
How about others here? Would you venture into space?
