Karel Frielink | | Sometimes you read about (legal) bloggers being arrested for putting their opinion or just certain information on the world wide web.
Are you afraid of blogging? What can bloggers do to protect themselves?
It goes without saying that blogging by lawyers / attorneys is restricted because of the confidentiality obligation between them and their clients. Are they allowed though to blog about actual cases on a no-name basis? Isn't that a bit risky? Does it make a difference whether a case is still pending or closed? How might judges respond when they read blogs from attorneys / lawyers about cases in which they still have to render a judgment?
I look forward to reading your opinion.
Kind regards,
Karel Frielink
