Why? Because it is tough to overcome the loss of a loved one and in my case it happens to be my father. He was diagnosed in February of 2006 and died of lung cancer last month. He had very limited time to live. He was only 63. The reality is that our time is limited too so it is very important that whatever we do or say is the best for us, our families and our society.
The loss of my father gave me the courage to start working on my dreams lot sooner than I anticipated. Don't wait and don't depend on others to fulfill your dreams. Most of the time, you take care of your own home, your family, your job, your health, your life, who do you think is going to take care of your dreams?
E2E has helped me a lot in this difficult time and from now onward I will promote E2E through CCC: CARE, Contribution, and Cause. I have received great response like yours from my fellow Toastmasters and other associates regarding my speech. I have joined Chicago Local Chamber of Commerce and other Non Profit Organizations where I will be giving the same speech in front of much larger audience. My goal is to help as many people possible as soon as possible in achieving their goals because our time in this world is limited.
Take Care all,
Asif Quddussi

I admire your courage and I am sorry for your loss and the pain of grieving someone you loved so deeply. I have found in my grief of having lost both my parents at a young age that death is an awakening for those it touches. My mother died when I was 26 - and the shock of her death actually gave me new life - I went back to school, went to counseling, got divorced, raised my kids and developed my career - I got to know me and to become me - for really the first time in my life. My father died almost three years ago and in my healing and grieving, new ideas came to me - such as launching the E2E discussion groups and serving entrepreneurs worldwide. Again, new life from death. So really, I attribute the E2E groups to my dad. Funny how life works like this. So, yes, I agree, our time is limited and death of a loved one touches us so deeply that we continue to be touched by their love and grow and change in ways we perhaps hadn't even thought of before.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Suzanne
