Mitch Mitchell | | It was a pretty good article, but I don't see anything wrong with greeting people in the morning or saying goodnight in the evening. I don't do it often, but occasionally I like letting some of my friends and readers know I'm around,... or not.

John Dilbeck | | Hi Mitch,
I agree with you.
While I prefer more substantive tweets, it's nice to see a personal touch now and then, as long as it isn't overdone.
I just quit following someone who tweeted at least a dozen times a day and never really said anything.
On the other hand, Guy Kawasaki tweets a lot, but most of them have useful information.

Mitch Mitchell | | Yeah, there's this woman called Coach Deb, I believe, who I was following for awhile, but she would post 10 to 20 posts in a row, and most of it was useless stuff. Way too much; had to drop her.

Pat | | Thanks for pointing to this great article.
On the "good morning" point, I would really hate to login to Twitter and have to wade thru 100 good mornings and good nights. As it is I am spending way too much time reading Twitters. LOL!!
Guess it depends on how many people you are following and what your goal is.
