A friend of mine and I have worked on an art book of sorts - an interactive of Poetry & Fine ARt Photography.
We need to now get cracking on getting it published.
Any sugegstions on Publishing HOuses that can be contacted?
IF there are events/exhibitions where the book can be showcased/sold etc?
Any help would be appreciated.

You might want, since this is a 'poetry book', get in touch with an agent because I am not sure how 'poetry' is handled through a print on demand company like Authorhouse or PublishAmerica (two places I used for my ebooks and paperbacks).
The best place to look up agents is the directory of NY Publishing Agents from the computer. Just type in literary agents and see what is available. If that doesn't suffice, I will contact PublishAmerica, who has my second manuscript in their hands now, and see what they can do about offering you a contract on this.

Sometimes it is also useful to take the long route. That is, try to get some of the work from the book published in literary journals. Maybe even think of a website/blog with some of the work from the book featured and then post that url in this and similar forums. That way you can always claim to the publishers/agents that the work has gone through a certain level of peer-evaluation.
