Hi everyone,

I see new members joining, and veteran members still on the active list here on the American Business Club network...

...however, I don't see any interaction or discussion posts here.

I'm wondering why is that?

For our members, did you know that you can jump right in and start a new discussion thread? Just keep in mind, not to post advertisements though.

Once in a while, I will preview and remove new postings which are actually straight advertisements about a member's business; this network was not intended to be an Ad board. There are other networks on Ryze for that purpose.

So with that being said, let me ask everyone:

What would you like to see addressed here?

Also, I'm assuming many of our members here are business leaders. I welcome you to demonstrate your expertise in your field by writing a short article and posting it in a new thread on this network, or responding to other posts with thoughtful answers.

Again, please keep in mind, to refrain from posting any kind of blatant advertisement or pitch about your company. Don't "yell" at us in your post to get our attention about your company, don't try to push your products/services/company in our direction. We're not located in a street market. No one likes a pushy vendor. It's not about MY! TRY! BUY!

Instead, tell us a true story, describe a business situation, give real-life examples. People want to learn from one another, and establish meaningful business relationships. Teach us, let us learn from you.

Does this make sense? If not, please feel free to send me a PM (private message) to further clarify. Thank you and wishing you success in networking.

Hi Eva, I'm a recent member and guilty of not participating.

One area I would be interested in listening to is that of expansion to international markets by small and medium companies in the US.

Foreign representation can expensive and daunting, yet it can be very rewarding if you have the right products. I suspect many companies do not entertain the step due to the complexity and risk involved in managing these situations from afar.

My interest is that I'm in the business of representing foreign coys in the Australasian and SE Asian markets. Being based in Sydney, Australia, I also find it difficult to connect with US and European coys that may need services such as I offer.

What do you think? I would be very interested in learning from other people's experience in trying to expand outside the US.

Regards

Michael
