Some takeaway joints for home-made style food in Mumbai.

haven't read the article you posted but i liked parichay in vile parle (east), just off hanuman road and behind the wagh bakri tea lounge...

the food at parichay was authentic marathi (as informed to me by a marathi) and i found it very delicious.

my favourite was the stuffed capscium and besan sabji with a simple yellow dal and rotis.

cheers

Authentic Maharashtrian food..very tasty and reasonably priced...
My Maharashtrian friends vouched for it..
And i found the food fit for the 'home-cooked' tag...
i think you get my drift...
