Mitch Mitchell | | I had read that article before, John, and I thought he made some very interesting points, most of which I felt I was already doing.

John Dilbeck | | Good morning, Mitch.
Yes, I think you do most of those things, too. It's part of the reason I enjoy running into you around the Web and visiting your blogs on a regular basis.
I try to follow many of his suggestions, and think I do pretty well.
My main problem is that I'm a burst mode worker. When I feel creative, I accomplish a lot. When I'm down or tired, I switch to information gathering mode and do a lot of reading, but don't write much.
When I'm programming or planning, I drop off the face of the Web and concentrate - mostly offline - until I reach a good stopping point before looking to see what's changed.
Act on your dream!

Mitch Mitchell | | Oddly enough, when I'm depressed, I write better. The same used to happen years ago when I used to write music. Go figure. lol

 Pat | | JD,
Thanks for the link to the list of 25 ways. I only understood about half of the points.
For instance, do you know what this means?
“Claim” your blog with Technorati

Mitch Mitchell | | Hi Pat,
I can help you with this one. If you go to Technorati, you can type in your blog address. When it comes up, it'll ask you if it's your blog. At that point just follow the directions it'll give you, and you've claimed your blog.
From that point on, it'll rank your blog based on its own criteria, and you can check on it from time to time.

John Dilbeck | | Thanks for answering Pat's question, Mitch.
I haven't been here in awhile.
