Do they Help or Harm?

But does this mean that the more nutrients you consume, the healthier you will be?
Not according to many well-respected studies which demonstrate how taking the right amount of nutrients can be key to your overall health and well-being, while taking the wrong amount can have the reverse result.
There are many nutrients, such as the B-complex, included in products that may be several thousand percent over the RDA or DV.
But if you look closely at the label, you'll also notice there are some nutrients where only 50% of the RDA or DV is provided. Copper happens to be one of those nutrients. Studies showing harm with copper were at levels much higher than the amount recommended. Some copper is needed, too much is harmful. Unfortunately, most multi-vitamins contain two mg per day of copper, which is too much.
Bottom line do your research! Lori www.verybestskincare.com www.whoislorijones.com

We definitely should eat as healthy as we can and get as many nutrients from the food we eat; we can't rely on a pill to give us ALL the nutrition. As the word says, it should SUPPLEMENT our nutrition, not nurture us completely.
Unfortunately, most supplements out on the market don't do us any good becuase they are basically "fake" vitamins made in a laboratory. These definitely do not have the same type of nourishment than supplements that are made with wholefoods. We need to do our research on supplements and make sure we take only supplements that are made from wholefoods and not crafted exclusively in laboratories.

None of the natural products that we take can harm you in any way . . but the wrong products certainly can harm you, which include the wrong supplements, drugs, over the counter products, etc.
Like Mirdza mentioned, you really have to do your research (or know someone who has done their due diligence) and make sure that you're purchasing the right products that really work for us and not against us.
Ultra important! It makes all the difference . . . it's quite eye opening.

I do not know about anyone else on this board, but I do know that with 3 kids a husband, and 2 jobs it is so hard to find time to make healthy meals for my family and even if I did have time, I am an awful cook, but shhh don't tell anyone.
We need our daily servings of vegetables and fruits and when we do not get them our body lacks the nutrients we need. There are tons of studies out there that link cancers, etc. with us not getting our daily nutrients. With that said it is important to make sure you do you research and find out what is the maximum level for each vitamin.
I personally take Nutrilite's concentrated fruits and vegetables supplement, as it captures crucial phytonutrients from natural fruits, vegetables, and plants – enough to equal the amount found in 10+ servings in just 2 tablets.
Hope this helps!

They should not be taken as "miracle pills". Eating processed foods or junk "snacks" should not be an option for us. We should strive to eat healthy foods everyday; only then will be truly be fit and HEALTHY.
In order for any supplement to be processed properly by our body, it's necessary for our body to be clean, i.e non-toxic. It's very important that we submit to a good cleansing once or twice a year, and only use products that our non-toxic on ourselves and to clean our home. If your body is toxic, it will NOT be able to process supplements, no matter how good they may be.
Have a fit and healthy day! I am off to exercise.
