Spring heralds new beginings

 I am blessed with a wonderful family, friends and brilliant job.  What more could I ask for?

MY WORLD.

My name is Gillian, or Gentleninja, I am happily married to Brian and we have a fantastic son named Andrew.We are blessed with a wonderful extended family who support us in all we do.Our home is in Newbury, England.We love traveling and have spent time in the USA, Europe and the Carribean.          

As long as I can remember I have always wanted to care for people. That desire led me to a career in the Health Service as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. I have worked in the Community and Hospital environment.A few years ago I studied with the Open University for a BSc, mainly concentating on Health, Development and Environment studies. This field particularly interesed me because of my desire to participate in a just and caring world.

In 2000 I decided to change career and I moved from Nursing and Midwifery to Complementary Therapy. My business offers Reflexology, Reiki and Indian Head Massage treatments. I also provide personalised greetings cards for any occasion. Tell me a little about the recipient of the card and I will produce a individual, inspirational keepsake.

I love my job as it allows me to spend more time on a one to one basis with my clients in a caring space. I try to incorporate the Pay It Forward principles into my life and business activity.                

There have been occasions in my life when I have been courageous enough to follow my intuition. By intution I mean that feeling we get in our hearts when we KNOW that we have been given a special insight. At those times I have operated in the FLOW and events in my lifework, magically.        

       

God works in mysterious ways. We have to be open to all the synchronistic events that occur in our lives.   

HARMONY 

  Have you had the experience of being given a gift and not cherishing it? We often take what is precious for granted and only realize our mistake when we almost lose that gift. Our healthy body is a gift which has been given to us by our Creator. Sadly we often misuse that gift, without knowing what we are doing to ourselves. The way we nourish ourselves in our daily lives be it our diet on the one hand, or in our thoughts on the other sets the scene for our future wellbeing. I have been inspired by a book by Lennart Nilsson called LIFE, which shows us the wonder and beauty of our inner world, through the most amazing photographs.Our bodies are truly miraculous.          

Life is precious, we should nurture ourselves for each one of us is wonderful. 

We are all on a Learning Curve, only we can choose the direction. Will you choose to live consciously?                       

I fervently believe that what we focus on grows, I have proved this in my own life and seen it demonstrated in my clients. Every day we have a choice as to how to live our lives, what we choose to place in our minds, what we look at, and what holds our attention.Each moment is precious, moments quickly translate into minutes then hours and quickly the day has passed, never to be repeated. Take the opportunity to laugh loud each day.   Enjoy        

We all have our lives to live, different circumstances and responsibilities, but let us not forget the miracle of our birth and the unique seed each of us holds inside.Let us celebrate each dawn and cherish the day.

Each day we are given the opportunity of a fresh start a clean slate to grow and be the best we can be. Often what we think of as BEST is a poor substitute for what we are all capable of achieving. I believe that within every living thing on this beautiful planet is unique potential, a seed waiting to be nurtured that is way beyond our wildest dreams.

I know what my dreams are - to some people they may appear wild and wacky but they are mine and I will achieve them.

I would like to apologise for being inactive over the last few months. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December and in the process of continuing treatment. I'll try to get back a couple of times a week from now on. : - ))
