What am I into?

My relationships. My wife and kids give me the energy and motivation to charge into the rest of my life - my reason for being. Of course, according to some, I get along so well with my kids because we are mentally the same age?!! Seeing life through fresh, illusioned (as opposed to disillusioned), wondering eyes keeps me in the thick of things, always asking WHY? Seeing them develop and grow is a constant source of amazement and pride - especially as I anticipate where they will develop next. Good friends round out the equation.... over the past few years, I have discovered who my true friends are. Thank you. You know who you are.

My passions. I love adventure and the outdoors. Skydiving and SCUBA are my main methods of stress release. Interestingly, I have different approaches to the two sports. SCUBA is something that I enjoy, either on my own (uh, with a partner, of course!) or in a group, but the pleasure is more individual. With skydiving, I have found as much pleasure in seeing a new jumper come into being as I have in participating myself. Where the thought of being a divemaster or SCUBA instructor does not appeal to me, I have had ratings to teach and coach skydiving. Not sure what the dynamics are that drive me, but there it is. Recently, the family and I have gotten into taekwondo. It has become a 4-day-a-week pursuit of pain.... uh.... quality physical and family time.
