To begin with, I am anxiously awaiting the release of my next play, written and produced by me. The title is EKBEEJANA FIFTY:50 and it releases on January 20th in Mumbai.

Let's go to the other stuff.

I am a writer and a journalist. The former since last six years and the latter since the last...hmmm...13 years now.

And still going strong. In both.

Here is the list of my already released and, either succeeded or bombed stage works:

Next thing.

I have worked with, during all these years as a journalist with the Asian Age, Abhiyaan, Bombay Samachar, Complete Cinema, Gujarat Samchar...

Now I am a columnist of Bombay Samachar, writing theatre stuff and a daily column on good thought called RANKAAR.

I am also the Executive Edeitor of film magazine Jee of the Chitralekha group.

Here are links to reports about me or my works:

Now, a bit about myself.

I entered journalism in 1995.
Was in the stock market before.
Lost money and heart both.
I was reborn in journalism.
Soon, I realised that my hobby of reading day and night was not just a hobby.
It was my passion
My power and my ultimate happiness.
I went on and on, from one publication to the other...
In 1998, I decided to give up job on payroll to explore more avenues.
I did. I succeeded too.
Became a columnist and editor of entertainment sections in Bombay Samachar.
With editor's encouragement, I soon became a real-good scribe.
I also wrote content for few websites

teenstation.com, bollyvista.com
123india.com, mumbaitheatreguide.com...

Then decided to get into creative writing.
I did. I succeeded too.

Then I thought of film. I am doing.
And I know I will succeed quickly.

Now these few lines worth reading:

I don't wait for moods. You accomplish nothing if you do that. Your mind must know it has got to get down to work. - Pearl S. Buck

Poetry: the best words in the best order. - Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Fiction is the truth inside the lie. - Stephen King

The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense. - Tom Clancy

Anyone who believes you can't change history has never tried to write his memoirs. - David Ben Gurion

Good things, when short, are twice as good. - Gracián

Oh yeah....if you have come till here and have felt satisfied...you owe me a line or two in my guest book. Come on...
