Greetings Somit Makar!!
Welcome to a Better-World! :-)
It's wonderful to make your aquaintance and I totally agree with your comments, below, regarding the first steps in making this world a better place...including the importance of taking concrete action. When you use the phrase 'concrete action', are you making a distinction between our DOING and our BEING? Or, perhaps the better question would be, Is there a distinction, for you, around doing and being?
I am of the mind that as each of us as individvuals become committed to the intention to create a better world that we are, indeed, inspired to act in ways that support and move in the direction of that intention.
And joining a group of others with that intention increases the power, the inspiration, and the actions exponentially!
Making assumptions, even when making them based on past experience, is still...making things up.
Today I listened, purposefully at a deeper level, without giving credence to any previous assumptions I had around a certain individual...and I was quite amazed at how differently they appeared to be showing up for me! I was more than delighted to discover that we share some very similar values - and I was previously unaware of that due to my misinterpretation!!
For me, choosing to listen to this person in a new way, was an act that contributed to a better world. :-)
So now, I wonder, what's something you are doing (or being) today to contribute to a better world?
I know we will all be richer and wiser by following your suggestion that we let each other know!
thank you Somit,
~~Mary K
