Jul 23, 2004 8:18 am health hazard Chemicals are chocking us...
Laura Zaky
Robina Chombe has got a great message, she contacted me to ask how she could inform more people to what she does.

This is my summary of it WARNING - health hazzard!!

this is cut from her profile, if this worries you then get intouch with her.........

It disheartens me that many people don't realise that cancer-causing chemicals are found in hundreds of personal care products and household cleaners because they contain ...

bleach

lye

phosphates

chlorine and

other dangerious chemicals.

A Word of Warning The Consumer Safety Commission has determined that cleaning products are some of the most dangerious substances in the home. Go into your kitchen and bathroom and look where you keep your cleaning and personal care supplies. What have you found? Window Cleaner? Bleach? Laundry and dishwashing detergent? Shampoo? Mouthwash? These products can be violent, lethal poisons with the potential to kill or seiously injure you

Liquid Bleach causes severe eye injuries. Can damage mouth, throat and the stomach. Vapors irritate the nose, throat and lungs. Vapors have also been shown to interfere with brain function and aggravate heart conditions and asthma. Its also suspected of affecting the reproductive system.

Breathing the dust of Powdered Bleach can produce astha-like symptoms. Damages eyes and skin. Also mixing this with ammonia can produce deadly fumes. Long-tearm exposue to the dust can cause sensitivities and chronic lung irritatiion.

Also, if you use any any Air Freshners in your home, most contain highly flammable propellants. These can cause moderate irritation to the eyes and can also cause mild to moderate lung irritation, including asthma-like symptoms. If yours has any butane, propane, ammonia, phenol, and formaldehyde then be warned. Harms include cancer, central nervouse system damage, liver damage and tumors.

I have bags of information on how toxic MOST household products are - so much so that I can't list each one here Please feel free to ask me any questions. I won't charge you for anything - my services are absolutely FREE.

Before I forget, did you know that an EPA Report to Congress on Indoor Air concluded that the toxic chemicals in household cleaners are THREE TIMES more likely to cause CANCER than outdoor air pollution?!

Food for thought or not?

"No, no, no - I know this box.
It is safe
It is good
It is home.

No no no, I shout
Don't tell me about what is outside Truth?
Truth is these four walls of convention
I get fed
I get the right to work and be a slave and be glad I've got the job!
I get to have fun knocking down a few and knocking up a few more.
I love my box
I love my box
I love love love my box..."

once you get round that and have the knowlege there is nothing to fear.

Love, Sunshine & Laughter
