I apologize for not having been active here for the past few months. I'll be getting more involved in the near future.
My latest realization is that many people are victims of their own minds. They don't operate at a level where their mind is a tool or aid they use for their own betterment.
Instead, they "use" (maybe "abuse" is more apt) their minds to sabotage their own lives and success in all kinds of ways. But, in a sense they don't "use" or "abuse" their minds, because they're not in charge. They are victims of their minds. In a sense they "allow" their minds to victimize their own lives and success.
Does anyone know how individuals can be persuaded to become the masters of their own minds?
