Hi Amanda,
Welcome! You've made a good start by joining a networking community, after all the business is about networking -- sharing products onto other successful people.

That's where the real money is. Many MLM'ers simply market their business month after month and see folks slip through their fingers because they haven't built a relationship.

Here's what I know now which I didn't back then:

1.) Take action today no matter if you don't have everything perfect. You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going!

By taking action you move from awrkward to natural.

2.) Don't spend ages trying to pitch networkers into your program. They already have one and don't need another to fail in! The masters of MLM retail leads, books, tapes, CD's and courses upfront and back end these buyers into their deal.

3.) Know your twenty reasons because if you know the reason why, the how will be a lot easier.

4.) Spend time working on yourself more than your business because ultimately it's YOU being a charasmatic leader which will attract an army of people to follow you.

4 b.) Learn how to do the business - the mechanics of starting people right, earning them money and retaining them.

BUT... if you picked a company that isn't going to be around in twenty years all of this is irrelevant.
