Hi Laura,
Has network marketing so far met the expectations you had before you joined?

A lot of people's excitement peaks when they sign the dotted line before they experience the 90-day slump.

It helps to make a commitment when joining any MLM. If you know the reason WHY you're doing MLM the HOW becomes a lot easier!

I would suggest a new recruit sits down with their spouse before going any further with their business. Write down 20 good reasons why you want a business to begin with.

Make a commitment by signing a copy of the 20 reasons sheet and then send to your sponsor. Have the 20 reasons sheet in front of you all the time…the times when you should be making those important follow up calls, etc Even stick to your electronic income reducer ;) (T.V.) so you can't watch it.

A sponsor will also have some leverage when a downline member goes through ‘the slump’. They will send you the copy of sheet they have and ask you if you REALLY want these reasons because they will be there to help you get them.

If you would like an example of the 20 reasons sheet, drop me a line.

The Power of the Awareness Process – “Sharing of a goal with another person creates a level of expectation. An expectation is a commitment… what others expect you to do based on what you said you would do. Once an expectation is set, it whispers to you: “Now you have to come through.” … Adapted from the book “Soar with Your Strengths” by Donald Clifton and Paula Nelson.

Best wishes,
Jason
