Dear All,
We are celebrating the 75th Birthday of Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna who was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the President of India. He was also recently awarded the Chevalier Award by the French Government - he is the first Indian Musician to receive this award. The function is held on 25th July 2005, at Music Academy. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has consented to felicitate him. Kindly send mails congratulating him on his unique feat.
We will also be having another function on August 7th 2005 where we will be releasing a Souvenir and an audio and video CD of all his compositions. We are requesting the Governor of Tamil Nadu to be present.
We are also planning to conduct another program honouring him in Delhi where we will invite the President and the Prime Minister to honour one of the greatest living legends of this Century. Do write your comments and suggestions.
