Interesting question Anannya,
I work with International Clients every single day and I must admit that the 4P's apply (universally) just as much today as they did when they were first introduced.
I have however made a slight adjustment to the product one (especially for new businesses)...
It stands for Product Planning - not just product. Very few of us intend to stop business at ONE product. So Product Planning allows us to create a complete plan for success that includes front end and back end products.
This not only allows us to think bigger and plan better - but is in and of itself "evolution focus".
