Scenario A : Police abuses them both & then physically assaults them both.

Scenario B : They go to the court, & the court slaps a penalty for filing frivolous cases & wasting the time of the court.

Senario C : They go to the court fight the case for years ...& their children fight the case after them .... till everyone loses track of who abused or who assaulted first.
