The crux of the legislation will lie in two definitions: 1. Living Together - the male who has a wife and a mistress, will escape scot free because he would be able to prove that they were not "living together". 2. "Reasonable Length of Time" - the test for reasonable would always to so vague as to prevent any woman actually getting the benefit of such a legislation.
Further, I think the terminology is sufficiently sexist as it stands and I'd be much happier if it had talked of "spouse" and rendered the legislation asexual in its intent.
