One critical tool is email, we all know that.
But, when it comes time to check our email
whenever we are away from our machine is another
dimension.

When I'm away from the office or home, I find
myself thinking...if there's any email, if
there's any orders to process, if there's any
major moment I've missed.

Those times I've been on a short three day or
four day vacation, I always seem to carry a
laptop to check email or carry on with business
during my time away.

Does this sound normal? Am I going about my
leisure time the wrong way?

What amazes me, is that I'm not alone. I see
other men and women doing the same
thing...flipping open their laptop just surfing
and clicking. I even saw a young lady by the
pool, with a headset on, Voip style.

Has our society grown to busy to relax?
