alayeda ek mithaas hai
duaa-on ka rang jo laati hai
sach khwabon ko kar jaati hai

eid ka raaz, eid hi jaane
harjee lagge salaam sunane

har din ki mubarak, har raat ka nazraana
roz dekhe tu eid, roz chand sa muskurana.

eid mubarak !

[a client briefed me a few days back to write a short sher for an 'eid mubarak' ad. me liked what i wrote. he loved it. so thought why not wish you the same.
in the ad, 'harjee' is replaced by 'hum']
