My husband has severe case of acidity. He vomits a lot on the day it's too much. happens once in one and half month or so.

I give him mosambi juice / lemon water. Mosambi juice is very good for him. he starts feeling better immediately. He finds Iced tea also very useful. Iced tea packets are available these days so you can make it easily!
