This is great information! Adding to your lists, even though I have a Treo/Palm, I keep physical lists in a planner as well. They are:

Movies I want to see
Books I want to read
Household Projects
Websites I want to look at
Things I want to do
Groceries or things to pick up
...and individual tabs for key people on my team so that when I go to talk with them, I know what I want to say

I keep the planner with me all the time to write down those flashes of thought, and when I'm out, there's no need to make another list or try to remember where I'm going.
