Hark! a chapter... |

The elusive sections of writing (known as chapters) are beginning to amass on our latest project, book two in the 'America' series. While more work, historical fiction is gradually growing on me. It is thrilling to cast a cursory eye over web pages of old documents, now and then pausing to peer closely at the black and white images of aulde times long gone.
I am certain other writers have halted in their research and pondered whether they, too, will be one day ensconced in a pile of papers and photographs, while some busy author searches through their faded pictures and writings, trying to re-capture the flavor of the past.
Moving on... the typing, albeit slower, seems heavier with meaning, almost more sustaining to the eye than the fluffier stories I've penned. The first book is still selling well, though I still find myself a bit surprised when I log in and see the email payment confirmations stacked up. It is humbling to see that so many women admiring the books and emailing back requests for more.
It is also inspiring... so, back to the laptop. We are currently halfway through Chapter Three; we'll keep yon ardent fans abreast of the goings on, and anyone else whom happens upon our blogs.
News: We've added ourselves to WritersCafe.org, a wonderfully designed site. I am surprised that it is not completely over-run; it should be. Feel free to rate and review the chapters we've put up there.
