Paul Cox

I agree that Mentoring can help small businesses, indeed help ALL businesses.

The Mentor acts as the non judgemental person helping the business owner to travel their chosen path. Mentoring is about adding value to the mentees ideas. Helping the mentee to ensure they examine ALL possibilities before making a decision.

The essential difference between Mentoring and Consulting is that in Mentoring the ownership of solving the problem stays with the Business where as with consulting the ownership of the solution is with the consultant.

In our normal lives friends often act as confidants and help us to decisions. In work the complexity/technical nature of the problem require mentors with business knowledge.

I mentor for the Princess Trust and am also part of a group called Ology who are the fastest growing group of people offering business advice in the form of coaching, consulting and mentoring.

We dont Mentor in every Business we work with BUT we have the ability too.

If there is anyone who would like to know more the look at www.ologybusiness.com and www.ologybusiness.com/paulcox and lets talk.
