I came across this gem this morning in an email Newsletter by Craig Valentine, one of my Mentors. He was talking about his journey of becoming a professional speaker and one phrase he used that struck a chord with me other than the above quote was "What got me here, won't get me there."

Constant self-improvement is a hallmark of a true champion. Of course all growth comes with a price tag and often it is the price tag that becomes the hurdle we can't seem to jump because we overlook the cost of not fulfilling our destiny.

Craig talked about facing the reality and making the change.

The speech is geared for speakers who want to become better speakers, but anyone can find gems in it.
