I just spoke with a newspaper regarding submitting an ad for publication. I was informed that you for the ad to look decent the resolution needed to be 300 DPI. Well, if you have a low resolution picture which is far from 300 DPI is there anything you can do via coding and software to make it become 300 DPI? Is that one of the things Photoshop does? Are there open source programs which will also do this sort of thing?
I was on the phone with someone earlier today and she told me she actually uses coding to change the DPI and that it is somewhat complicated. I should have asked her the name of the software she used, but got side-tracked.
