S C Yes, I am alive. Hahaha! I missed all of you. After an eternity of absence, I'm saying hi. I know, I know. Very bad of me. Sigh.

Anyways.

Couldn't help but notice the number of threads Lamar has posted about high res images. Everyone is right - for printed material esp an ad, high res images (300dpi) is always required.

To save yourself from future anguish and hassles, I'd recommend you always shoot using high res. If you want to use the image for the web, just change the resolution to 72dpi on Photoshop. Life is easier that way.

If you use images found on the internet, best to choose the high res ones. And the easiest way to do this is to buy the image so you can choose the correct resolution. You may search for high res images but that's going to eat up on your time. Been there, done that, got a migraine for it. Patience is not always a virtue as I have discovered the hard way. LOL!

When you have a graphic artist who has to do the arduous task of fixing your images bec they are on low res, you run the risk of being charged more for computer time.

Hugs to everyone. Ahoy, Pirate!
