Google sets up the Open Source Handset Alliance. Then, it creates an open source mobile operating system for all the members of the alliance to use in their hardware. So, now you have all manner of Android OS cell phones on the market. Now, the rumor I heard is that Google is going to introduce its own phone. Does this seem right - compete against the very market it helped to create? While this does seem to be a very real possibility, it does not seem to be equitable.
What do you think? Does it seems right to compete against the very market you helped to create - even to the point of deciding to use your operating system (Android)?
