I follow thru on this. Martin Sheen played the president on TV, for seasons, on THE WEST WING.

That was a fascinating show . . . & talk about mixing Hollywood & Politics!! It took it all to a different level. I worked for the federal gov't, at a high level, for a number of years. My agency continued to operate at the pleasure of the president. My husband still works there. It's a completely different world inside that realm & though I don't think the TV version was really accurate in many ways, the intensity & non-stop activity, as well as the "handler" status, was rather well-done.

Hollywood & Politics -- we're seeing it mesh more & more!
