Two really good points. There has been a lot of thought and preparation regarding target audience and the minimum age requirement is lower than one would normally anticipate (age 13, with parental consent) because the younger than 18 crowd is so important to this project.
Entertainment attorneys have been involved with everything from naming rights to payout of revenues. I know it sounds crazy, but they really want this to be "by the people" and "for the people". Including revenue share.
It seems like they've covered their bases from a business perspective. My concern is that they feel so much passion about this concept and they sincerely believe everyone else will, too.
I have gotten a couple other responses about what a great idea it is, too. I've been on the site that launched today and voted on the lead character's dog and which car I think he should drive. I haven't read enough about the characters to vote on that yet.
Thanks for your great advice, Heidi, http://www.thepeoplesmovie.com
