Without a doubt (as a writer) my favorite marketing tool is a mix of RSS based technologies created by Quikonnex.
I write keyword focused articles, push them out through a system I've developed for this RSS approach, and a year later I'm still getting traffic from the articles I've written.
I can also easily create and add podcasts to my content posts with this system (and have these spidered by the engines).
Also, if I focus on a niche keyword I can "knock" off the first page of Google (for that keyword term) within a month. The time this takes to get this ranking is determined by the the amount of content competition the keyterm term has in the engines.
Works a charm, over and over again.
