Totally agree with Lamar and Mark. I had my business card designed but I had some people (same profile as my target market for my marketing consultancy business) to take a look at it and tell me what they thought of the card, the impressions it gave, etc. It helped me a lot in designing the card to meet my marketing objectives. That and knowing how to use it properly.

It's always good to ask for other opinion regarding marketing, advertising and communication materials you will use for your business. They might see something you didn't and their inputs can be valuable at times.
