I ran an article submission services for a few years. It gets rather time consuming. So I looked around, tried a bunch of services, talked to others who tried services and then choose article marketer. I have articles and resources on articles; writing articles, using article banks, etc. at http://www.ArticleBanks.com

So I use AM and then as someone else mentioned I submit to a few handfuls of other sites one by one or via email.

Has it helped? It brings pre-qualified traffic to my site. And because freelancers found my articles on some topic they were writing about on the web, I've been in Womens Day, Money Magazine, Bottom Line and "almost" in the NY Times. I've also been asked to be on radio and TV shows, had my articles posted in magazines all around the world, etc.
