I am in total agreement. Evites are set by default to resend every two days to those who do not RSVP. When I learned this was happening I went into the system and changed the setting to "Not Resend." However, what really strikes me as odd is that the folks who actually asked me to help them "get the word out" would not help me help them. I mean they were all for the front page news stories, but RSVP to an Evite to show they were actually planning to attend the harvest party? No. Now, what logical reason would a person who actually planned to be at the event not want others to know in advance that he was going to be in attendance - especially if he wanted a large crowd to be there? I do not understand the logic of asking a person like me for help, but refusing to help me help your cause.
