Lamar,
I have a lot of experience in advertising in small papers.
People mostly ignore them until they have seen them several times.

An ad that ran in a Toronto newspaper for 2 weeks, with a circulation of 350,000 (350,000 x 14 = 4,900,000 displays), drew 10 replies, even with a full webpage devoted to it.

We got double that when a 1/4 page ad was also run in the weekend editions.

The best thing you can do is to setup a properly SEO'd webpage and let organic marketing run its magic.
