Tutorial: How to post pictures on a
network forum as this
So, I will also host the following images doing the
SAME thing I teach ya.
:) So, now you know it is possible, easy and
doable.
Anyone can do this for free.
Let's try to explain this in steps.
1. First you have to take the picture or have the
picture ready to use
(in JPG format is probably best and also in web
file size format 72k-96k)
Ever notice that some pics load real s l o w and
others load real fast?
Well, the fast ones are low resolution and the s l
o w ones are high resolution or just have more info
or pixels in the image file.
2. Now that we have a low resolution or low res
file or 96k, I like to use -
You need to STORE the image file on either your
paid web server or host service.
Free ones like GEOCITIES at yahoo.com are
available, but once you use more than so many photos
you loose bandwidth or simply not many people will
be able to view the image often.
I use Geocities and also a paid domain name for my
company website.
Either place is good and you can pull the image
from the host server to your intended webpage or
network forum like a ryze post.
(I can walk you thru how to upload this to a free site or
how to upload to your own domain relatively easy on th phone or I can point you
to several members here who should be glad to get the attention and help you
too.)
3. Once your image is loaded on a server or web host
service,
You just use ALL html code which I get easily by copying
and pasting.
To do it really quick, I go into outlook, a program on
most computers to do this.
There are more than one way to do everything. So,
there are other programs to use to
accomplish this.
4. When sending an email in outlook, ever notice that the
bottom of that email BEFORE you send it says you can view it in html or view
source or code?
Let's take a look at the next set of illustrations to walk
you thru the process.
If you have ANY questions, NO Ques is dumb, just PM or
private message or call me.
This window ABOVE that opens in outlook is where you
insert the url or web address with the image.
Now, here's that sample where to host an image for
FREE.
:)
Ready to post a picture in a forum now?
You might need to review these notes again when you have a
little more time.
What you put in is what you get out.
Kindest regards,
Paul
