Life Enrichment all week long...
I recently read that the amount of sleep we get is crucial. Of course I knew this, but reading a study makes it that much more believable. I also heard that "catching" up on sleep never totally works.
What do you do for self-care?
Do you get enough rest?
How about a weekly (or at least monthly) massage?
Any down time during the day?
Any deep breathing, visualization, prayer, etc?
These are some of the many things that I have worked into my life, into my every day experience. Finally I am taking care of me.
What I am noticing is just how much more energy and better attitude I have throughout my day. It's great.
Sure it takes some planning. I have actually mapped out a monthly, weekly and daily calendar that allows me to fill in the blanks with my schedule so that I set aside time for me!
