You're better off staying with what you know rather than training on something which you don't especially if it involves a lot of time and excessive money expense.
Second, with the MS Accounting software it says that it is free however it is not. After 30 days (I think that is the time frame) you have to pay for it so technically you only have a taste of what you're getting.
In my opinion, something you might want to consider is QuickBooks or ACT! If not mistaken you can download trials of both before purchase. The most valuable thing to consider is something that does exactly what you need and when you need it. A tall order perhaps but not impossible to fulfill.
