I would agree Denise if they were responding indicating that it is one of their services.

However if someone posts that they "Use xxy services" and do not indicate that it is an advert or an affiliate link then I feel it is a different story.
There are 2 ways to writing an affiliate link, one is to write the link in the clear, EG http://name_of_site_selling_service.com/agent's_page.html
or to "hide it in the code" only using "Link to site" as the visible text.
