Wouldn't you agree that a bold link in context is much cleaner and readable than http://www.your.domain.name.here.com/youraffiliateid#000
and so less confusing and more to the point?
I think too, that it is misleading to imply that anyone, including yourself makes any real money off of 5 or 6 dollar a year name hosting, while leaving off the fact that a WYSIWYG editor will never provide the same support and instruction that a complete package like SBI provides.
