You perhaps need a QB 'expert' to set up your item costs so that you can track inventory - I use it in the UK for a photographic agency and it's no big deal provided you set it up properly. If your item costs change, you just edit the individual items - perhaps if you contact QB help direct, or ask the question on one of the QB forums you will get more specific help but I can't see why you are having problems tracking stock - QB is great at that. Try looking on the QB/Intuit website and follow the links to the forums or help questions.
