Here are my two cents:
1. Grassroots marketing: In my business this is the only way to build a client list. I provide a very specific product (operational business funding) to a very select group of clients. I prefer to either meet them personally at business functions or get them through referrals. I think this is true for any business that sells services or only needs a few clients to be profitable.
2. Loosing Sleep: I try not too - even for a great idea. Sleep is sacred :-)
