The Eagle: Motivating Champions Around The World
Lately in the news both on TV and The Internet there are cities and Counties either proposing or have already imposed fees for Fire and Paramedic Srvices and some cities and Counties also are charging a fee for Police Service.

Do you agree with the Practice of Charging for Fire Department and Paramedics nd Police Service charging for their Services they render?

I have heard of the Paramedics charging for their response to a emergency Call. I have not heard of any police Departments that have done this although on the Internet it has been reported that they are either thinking about or Have proposed such fees. A Lot of people believe it is double Taxation as we pay taxes for these vital services to be provided. I also know that many cities and Counties are hurting as far as their Budgets are concerned.

I know their is a big problem where people call the Fire Department or Police for frivilous emergencies when all they really need is a ride to some place. These fraudelent calls for service makes it bad and hard for the people who have really serious Emergency Calls where it is a matter of Life and Death.

I believe that a person who abuses the system should be made to reimburse the Fire Department or Paramedic or even the police if they are found not to be in need of Vital Emergency Services. I do not believe ordinary Taxpayers who work and pay Taxes should not have to pay for these services no matter what.

Would like to hear your thoughts on this Subject.
